The CE+ Webinars were compiled into a Circular Economy Virtual Course to provide cutting-edge training to develop essential circular skills for youth, youth workers, and businesses. Built around three modules, the course focuses on actionable strategies for a sustainable future. Each partner was assigned two topics and made a series of webinars targeted at the project’s three stakeholder groups:

  1. Youth
  2. Youth worker
  3. Businesses

Baseline requirements in a circular economy:

Explores the necessity of a circular economy, current system adaptation, and the future of materials

  • Why do we need a circular economy? (Lithuanian partner)
  • Current situation analysis and system adaptation (Slovakian partner)
  • Future materials (Estonian partner)

Digital-green and sectoral skills:

Discusses the digital and green skills needed for the circular transition, including critical recycled materials and industry applications

  • Digital skills required for the transition to a circular economy(Estonian partner)
  • What are green skills? Why is it necessary? (Lithuanian partner)
  • Critical (recycled) materials for industry-based industries (Belgian partner)
  • Circular business and sectors Module (Belgian partner)

Circular business design models:

This module explores the creation of business models, sustainability practices, carbon footprints, and compliance with global and regional sustainability standards.

  • Creation of the business model (Irish partner)
  • Ensuring sustainability for the industry (Irish partner)
  • Global footprints (including carbon footprint and greenhouse gas effects)(Slovakian partner)
  • Local and regional sustainability approach (Turkish partner)
  • Sustainability rules and legal requirements (Turkish partner)

These open educational resources, developed by circular economy experts, aim to inspire real behaviour change and foster entrepreneurial spirit. The webinars’ content was also collected into a handbook for ongoing physical and virtual activities, promoting sustainable practices across sectors.

The partners disseminated the project results to key stakeholders, including youth, youth workers, and businesses involved in the circular economy and green skills sector.
