CE+ vadovas
The CE+ Handbook was developed to address diverse sustainability topics and cater to the project’s three stakeholder groups. It primarily focuses on youth and also encompasses youth workers and businesses.
The Handbook provides non-formal educational resources to enhance youth's understanding of sustainability. It offers best practices, tips, and interactive activities that make learning engaging and accessible. It equips youth with practical green skills for the circular economy through real-world examples, boosting employability in sustainable sectors.
The Handbook serves as a professional development tool for youth workers, offering strategies for integrating non-formal learning activities on sustainability, green skills and circular economy into their activities, fostering critical thinking, and supporting youth development. It also provides a step-by-step guide on linking with local businesses to provide youth internships and employment opportunities.
For businesses, it highlights sustainable practices and corporate social responsibility, showcasing best practices and case studies to inspire improvements in sustainability and innovation. It also discusses involving youth via internship opportunities in green skills-related activities. This ultimately fosters a collaborative approach to creating a more sustainable future.
The Handbook includes two chapters:
Current Situation and Needs Analysis Report
Methodological Framework of Circular and Green Skills and Non-formal Learning Activities on Circular and Green Skills Integration
To make the Handbook’s content more readily available, the partners also developed a series of six videos that serve as concise summaries of each element within the methodological framework. These videos offer a dynamic and accessible format for stakeholders to grasp the key concepts and strategies outlined in the handbook. Through visually engaging content and clear narration, the videos provide an overview of the framework's components, enabling users to quickly grasp the essential principles and apply them effectively in their respective contexts :
Needs Analysis Report
The partners undertook a comprehensive research approach to lay the groundwork for the CE+ Handbook. The primary research phase involved directly engaging key stakeholders:
Youth,
Youth workers, and
Businesses.
Through carefully designed surveys, we sought to gauge their awareness and understanding of critical topics such as the EU Green Deal, circular economy principles, and the importance of green skills. This first-hand insight was instrumental in tailoring the content of the CE+ Handbook to meet the real-world needs and aspirations of those at the heart of the green transition.
The partners implemented three surveys to gather insights and opinions of the three target audiences of the CE+ project, which was distributed among youth, youth workers and businesses located in partner countries:
Estonia
Lietuva
Airija
Slovakija
Belgija
Türkiye
The partners strived to foster a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with transitioning towards a more sustainable and environmentally conscious economy. Stakeholders' responses contributed to developing project results, namely fun and engaging non-formal learning activities linked to the circular economy and green skills.
